How can I apply to Internship-UK?
Potential student interns may apply to one of our internships on the
main page of the Internship-UK site. It is a 45 question application
designed to target interns that will create a positive effect on our
companies. A successful applicant will then have two phone interviews
with our HR Team and one last interview with our Manager and CEO.
What documentation is required to attend an internship with
Internship-UK?
Students who wish to attend the internship must obtain a working visa
through the British government or one of the provided companies in the.
It is a necessary document needed to enter the country as well as work
at our company.
When are the deadlines and dates of the internships?
Applications are on a rolling basis and can be applied to at any time
for any length of time. We are very flexible and would like to work with
you to make your work experience worth your while.
What are the work hour requirements?
Interns are required to work for a minimum of 40 hours per week. Work
shifts are flexible to fit the hours during which you work best. Again,
schedules are flexible so you can work the details out with the

When will I receive notice about my application status?
Interns will receive notice on the status of your application almost
immediately. Responses are given within a day or two of the application
subsistence. Successful interns will receive an email indicating their
first interview. From there we can offer a second and third interview.
Extremely successful interns will then be offered an internship as well
as details.
How many student interns work at the company?
On average, there are at least 15 student interns, ranging in ages 19 to
28, from all over the world. Interns will be able to work independently
as well as collaborate on projects.

1.Interns will arrive as trainees and depending on your work efforts,
will be promoted. The tasks of interns vary on departments. Tasks will
be specific to your department and are designed to increase your skills.
No coffee or sandwich runners!
Is the internship paid or unpaid? How will I finance my internship?
The internship is unpaid. Depending on your performance, it can be
discussed with the manager. The authorization of grants and paperwork
can be signed by our companies. Further financial inquiries should be
directed to the management.
May trainees find their own accommodation rather than what is provided
by the company?
This option is appropriate for students who already have an
accommodation in the UK. However all the trainees in New Romney live
together in a student accommodation. The accommodation provided is
affordable and you will enjoy many advantages such as a table football,
a billiard table, home cinema, wireless internet access, barbecue,
parking etc.
How do I get to the London/New Romney office?
London: The London office is easily accessible to the tube. From
Heathrow, you will be able to take the Piccadilly Line to Manor House.
New Romney: To get to the New Romney office you must take the National
Rail to Ashford International. From there we can arrange for a pick up,
or a bus transport.

1.Interns are required to obtain working papers in the UK in order to
gain legal access into the country for work opportunities. A guide to
the process of obtaining a work visa specific to your origin country can

Do interns need a passport to come to the UK?
Passports are needed to leave and enter countries, especially the UK.
Beware of special stamps that you may need upon entering the UK.
How do you open up a bank account in the UK?
British bank accounts can be a very difficult and pricey process. Bank
accounts can possibly be obtained through your visa provider, but ask
before departure. Since our internships are unpaid, it may be easier to
use your bank card and bear all transaction fees during your internship
in the UK.
Where can you obtain a UK sim card?
1.There are several shops throughout the UK that carry sim cards for
your personal use. The cheapest option is to buy a pay as you go phone
or sim card.
1.What is there to do during spare time in the UK?
1.Our facilities and houses in London are easily accessible to the tube
throughout the city. At our New Romney office, it is easily accessible
to use the buses that can bring you to neighboring cities. There is also
a beach, minutes away, as well as facilities on hand available for use
such as free internet and home cinema. Our staff also hosts many social
activities during the week and weekends to enhance employee relations. |
